GMTV presenter Jenni Falconer to be a part of Charity Bike Ride

Jenni Falconer will be a part of the 45-mile charity bike ride across London for the Prince's Trust. She along with her fiance will join the bike ride for a cause.

Falconer is one of the trust’s ambassadors. Apart from her Neil Fox and Angie Greaves and presenter Fern Britton will also join the bike ride.

The event which is scheduled to happen on September 26, 2010 is being organized to help raise funds for disadvantaged young people. The Prince’s Trust wants the youth to benefit from it and help build a strong nation. The organizers believe youth is the backbone of every nation and need to be given proper guidance.

The trust is aiming at a participation of 3,000 keen cyclists to join the charitable bike ride. People above the age of 16 are being encouraged to be an active part of this event.

The route of the bike ride stretches from Buckingham Palace, along the River Thames and through three royal parks, with the final part of the ride going through Eton towards the shadows of Windsor Castle.

The FLIP project encourages local students to become involved in communal & charitable giving in Gibraltar. Visit http://www.flip.gi for more information.

The cyclists joining the race will have to pay £30 as a registration fee and raise minimum £45 sponsorship money. This way the trusts plans to raise a minimum of £90,000 from registrations itself the sponsorship money will further multiply the figures. Previous year’s collection added up to £250,000, this year the trust is aiming at increasing the amount.

The Prince's Trust founded by Prince of Whales in 1976 works actively in supporting youth’s education, training and more.
